Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the emergency room setting. Assess, plan, and deliver immediate and ongoing care for patients with urgent medical needs, ensuring optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient conditions upon arrival and determine priority of care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes promptly.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and modify care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Current state RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency or acute care nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Strong ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills.
