Job Summary:

The Neuro IR Tech is responsible for performing neurointerventional procedures, assisting physicians, and ensuring patient safety during complex interventional radiology treatments. This role requires technical expertise in neurovascular interventions within a teaching hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate advanced imaging equipment for neurointerventional procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures, ensuring optimal patient positioning and procedural success.
• Monitor patient condition closely before, during, and after interventions.
• Maintain all required certifications, including BLS and ARRT (R).
• Manage radiation safety protocols, including providing and maintaining radiation badges.
• Document procedures accurately in the electronic health record and adhere to hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold current ARRT (R) certification and BLS certification.
• Possess at least 2 years of experience in interventional radiology and neuro procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in neuro IR procedures and radiation safety practices.
• Be adaptable to floating within scope to meet facility needs (not required for this position).
• Possess South Carolina RN license or proof of application; in-state preferred.
• Have a maximum radius of 60 miles or approval for locals on a case-by-case basis.
