Job Summary:

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced trauma center, ensuring immediate response to patient needs and critical situations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive and safe patient care during high-pressure scenarios.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions rapidly upon arrival to determine acuity and prioritize care needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols.
• Perform emergency procedures such as airway management, IV placement, and trauma stabilization.
• Document patient assessment findings, interventions, and progress accurately and promptly.
• Coordinate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to develop and implement care plans.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust approaches to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina or appropriate compact licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency department nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment with a focus on patient safety.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
