Job Summary:
Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and effective treatment through skilled assessment and intervention.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions rapidly upon arrival, identifying emergent needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor vital signs, EKGs, and other critical parameters accurately and promptly.
• Document patient care and clinical information thoroughly in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Follow all safety, compliance, and hospital policies, including passing required EKG exams.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with active credentials in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience.
• Strong knowledge of ED protocols, trauma procedures, and emergency codes.
• Certified in ACLS, BLS; NIH certification required; PALS, TNCC preferred.
• Proficient in EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
