Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing Interventional Radiology procedures. Collaborate with medical teams to ensure safe, efficient, and quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments and prepare patients for vascular IR procedures.
• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patient vital signs throughout procedures.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Document clinical care accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Monitor post-procedure patient recovery and provide appropriate patient education.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and ensure proper use of radiation badges.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active South Carolina or Compact State Nursing License.
• Possess at least 2 years of clinical experience, including ICU, ER, trauma, or critical care.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS is required.
• Demonstrate experience with procedural nursing, moderate sedation, and vascular interventions.
• Be able to provide a radiation badge (supplied by agency).
• First-time travelers accepted and able to meet the facility’s radiologic safety standards.
