Job Summary:

Perform laboratory testing and analysis as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in a fast-paced clinical setting. Ensure accurate and timely results to support patient diagnosis and care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests with precision and efficiency.
• Collect and process specimens from patients, ensuring proper labeling and handling.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation, including Cerner systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards to ensure accurate test results.
• Document test procedures, findings, and maintain accurate records.
• Respond quickly to patient testing demands, processing at least 10 samples per hour.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience within a clinical laboratory setting.
• Hold a valid phlebotomy certification.
• Demonstrate experience with hospital laboratory workflows and specimen collection.
• Exhibit proficiency with Lab information systems, specifically Cerner.
• Capable of moving efficiently between patients to meet productivity goals.
