Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units, ensuring optimal clinical outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver safe, effective patient interventions during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes.
• Document patient progress accurately in the electronic charting system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid South Carolina RN license or Compact license prior to start.
• Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Hold current ACLS and BLS certifications; NIHSS preferred.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to float within scope to meet unit and facility needs.
• Flexible to work 3x12 night shifts, including holiday rotation.
