Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg unit specializing in post-operative and trauma care. The role involves providing high-quality patient care within a dynamic surgical/trauma environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive post-op and trauma patient care according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately within Meditech.
• Monitor patient status, respond to emergencies, and escalate issues as needed.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including uniform and schedule requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in Georgia.
• Possess at least 2 years of med/surg or orthopedic nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in post-op care management and trauma procedures.
• Certified in BLS; ACLS certification preferred.
• Ability to work every other weekend and adapt to floating policies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
