Job Summary:

Provide expert nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. Deliver direct patient care, assist with procedures, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital policies.
• Monitor patient vital signs and condition, recognizing signs of deterioration.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures such as EKGs, venipuncture, and Glucometer testing.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and modify care plans.
• Provide patient education and support to promote recovery and well-being.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Georgia RN license with a minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical experience.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech documentation system.
• Possess strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities.
• Able to work 36 hours per week, including rotating weekends.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and dress code standards.
