Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). This role involves providing specialized perioperative care for cardiovascular surgery patients in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate as part of the surgical team to prepare patients and assist with cardiovascular procedures.
• Circulate Hearts during surgeries, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and sterile techniques.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to intraoperative changes.
• Document procedures and patient responses accurately in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other staff to ensure smooth workflows.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with acute care experience in cardiovascular surgery.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent CVOR experience preferred.
• Proficiency in operating room procedures, including circulating Hearts.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM shifts, including on-call duties two nights a week and one weekend per month.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
