Job Details

Job Summary:
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine techniques to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment. Ensure safety, accuracy, and quality control throughout all procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Operate nuclear medicine equipment, including the GE Ventri machine, to produce diagnostic images.
• Assist physicians in performing procedures and administering radiopharmaceuticals.
• Monitor and record all radioactive materials in accordance with safety regulations.
• Maintain quality control on imaging equipment and ensure proper calibration.
• Document procedures and results accurately using PACS, Xceleris, and Webhis systems.
• Insert IVs as needed and maintain sterile techniques during all procedures.

Qualifications:

• Requires minimum 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
• Hold current BLS certification and ARRT or NMTCB credentials.
• Demonstrate proficiency in NM procedures and radioisotope handling.
• Familiar with operation of GE Ventri or similar nuclear medicine equipment.
• Possess knowledge of radiation safety protocols and quality assurance.
• Must have active state licensure at time of submission.
