Job Description
Job Summary:
Seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform advanced nuclear imaging procedures in an outpatient clinic setting. The role involves delivering high-quality diagnostics while adhering to safety and protocol standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform adult outpatient nuclear medicine procedures including myocardial scans, SPECT imaging (Bone, Thyroid, Cardiac), gastric emptying, liver imaging, perfusion, ventilation, and Captopril scans.
- Operate GE imaging equipment with proficiency, ensuring accurate image acquisition and processing.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout diagnostic procedures in compliance with safety protocols.
- Document procedures accurately using EPIC charting system and ensure compliance with documentation standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to interpret imaging results and ensure optimal patient care.
- Adhere to all certification, licensing, and safety requirements mandated by regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
- Hold ARRT certification and current NJ License or valid State License for Nuclear Medicine.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in adult outpatient nuclear medicine, including myocardial and SPECT imaging.
- BLS certification required at the time of submission.
- Demonstrate proficiency in GE imaging platforms and nuclear cardiology techniques.
- Ability to perform complex procedures such as gastric emptying, bone scans, and ventilation imaging.
- Capable of working independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment with a flexible schedule.
