Job Summary:

Provide specialized speech-language therapy services to patients with communication and swallowing disorders, ensuring comprehensive assessment and effective treatment plans. Collaborate with healthcare teams, patients, and families to support optimal patient outcomes. Maintain adherence to regulatory standards and professional guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' speech, language, voice, and fluency functions through comprehensive assessments.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address identified communication and swallowing disorders.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy techniques accordingly to promote improvement.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and strategies to enhance communication skills.
• Comply with all relevant regulations, policies, and safety protocols to ensure privacy and optimal care delivery.
• Supervise and mentor assistants and aides, providing clinical guidance and support for students in training.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid SLP license to practice within the state.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Possess a current driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Preferably have experience in home health settings.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, assessment, and patient engagement skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and support staff.
