Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced ECMO Specialist RN to provide specialized critical care for patients requiring ECMO therapy. The role involves circuit management and clinical interventions in a high-acuity cardiothoracic environment, with a focus on patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor ECMO circuits to ensure optimal performance and patient safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per protocol.
• Document clinical assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Respond promptly to emergent situations and adjust care plans as needed.
• Maintain compliance with certifications and institutional protocols.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of ECMO circuit management experience as an RN.
• At least 3 years of recent CVICU/ICU nursing experience, with floating to CICU/CVICU as needed.
• Valid RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Preferred certifications include CES-A or E-AEC and LVAD.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system and bedside critical care equipment.
