Job Summary:
The Cath Lab/EP Technician plays a vital role in supporting cardiology and electrophysiology procedures. They assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac interventions, ensuring a high standard of patient care and safety throughout all procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up the catheterization lab for scheduled procedures.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac and EP interventions.
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment used in cath lab and electrophysiology procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and provide support throughout procedures.
• Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
• Document procedure details accurately in patient records.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Radiologic Technology program.
• Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a cath lab or electrophysiology laboratory.
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, electrophysiology, and related imaging tools.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
