Job Summary:
Provide specialized postpartum nursing care to mothers and newborns in a busy hospital unit. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe, compassionate, and effective patient care during the postpartum period.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor maternal and neonatal health status regularly.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate new mothers and families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Document patient progress accurately using electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient needs, emergencies, and changes in condition.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with current registration.
• Demonstrate at least 1 year of recent acute care postpartum RN experience.
• Obtain BLS certification; NRP preferred.
• Possess Meditech experience and familiarity with Beacon EMR systems preferred.
• Exhibit strong communication, flexibility, and adaptability skills.
• Show a compassionate, team-oriented approach to patient care.
