Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality echocardiography services for adult patients in a high-volume outpatient/inpatient setting. Perform diagnostic ultrasound studies, including advanced modalities, while maintaining patient safety, image quality, and efficient workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiograms.
• Conduct contrast echocardiography and bubble studies as ordered by the care team.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound systems (including Philips Ultrasound and GE Clinical Works) to ensure optimal imaging.
• Prepare patients, optimize imaging settings, and verify study protocols for accuracy and completeness.
• Document completed studies and workflow details in Sunrise (Allscripts) or the assigned EMR system.
• Support occasional weekend coverage and on-call needs, as required by staffing demands.

Qualifications:

• Hold NH Board of Medical Imaging licensure and have it in hand prior to submission.
• Maintain RDCS and/or RCS credentials.
• Maintain BLS certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency performing echo, stress echo, TEE, contrast echo, and bubble studies.
• Operate ultrasound equipment effectively while producing diagnostically reliable images.
• Show strong professionalism and patient-focused communication in a fast-paced setting.
