Job Description
Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Ultrasound Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in various clinical settings. The incumbent will work closely with medical teams to deliver accurate imaging services and uphold patient care standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound scans across diverse patient populations, including pediatric to geriatric cases.
- Evaluate and analyze images to identify normal and abnormal findings, ensuring high-quality diagnostic data.
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, including Siemens Acuson S200 and GE Logiq E10 systems.
- Adhere to departmental protocols, safety guidelines, and HIPAA regulations during examinations.
- Document procedures and findings accurately in the electronic medical record system, Allscripts.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare staff to support patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
Qualifications:
- Valid NH sonographer licensure and certification (RDMS) and BLS certification required prior to submission.
- Minimum of one year of clinical ultrasound experience with broad exposure to general, vascular, OB-GYN, and specialty procedures.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and sonographic physics.
- Proven ability to recognize normal versus abnormal findings and perform clinical assessments.
- Experience with ultrasound procedures in hospital or acute care environments.
- Additional certifications such as RVT, AB, or OB-GYN are preferred.
