Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide specialized patient care in a Level I Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have orthopedics experience and be comfortable working night shifts on a team nursing model, ensuring high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to changes, and document findings accurately.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures to maintain a sterile environment.
• Assist with orthopedic procedures and post-operative recovery processes.
• Adhere to all compliance and travel policy requirements during assignment.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state or compliant compact license under NLC guidelines.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical experience with orthopedic and Level I Trauma background.
• Proven travel experience with at least one completed prior travel assignment.
• Strong familiarity with EPIC electronic health records is preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to facility’s team nursing model.
• Must meet all Tier 2 travel compliance requirements.
