Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures Radiologic Technologist to support invasive procedures within a busy cath lab. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in advanced interventional radiology techniques and provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various interventional radiology procedures including angiograms, PCI, pacemaker implants, ports, drains, AAA repairs, and STEMI interventions.
• Operate GE cath lab equipment and ensure proper documentation within the Merge system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scrub RTs, circulating RNs, and recording RTs or RNs to deliver seamless patient care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain sterile techniques during all procedures.
• Support unit operations during scheduled shifts, including on-call rotations and floating to EP or IR as needed.
• Follow unit policies, guidelines, and dress code, maintaining professional standards.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of cath lab experience required.
• Certified as an AART or RCIS with interventional cath lab experience.
• Demonstrate advanced skills in performing complex procedures such as angiograms and PCI.
• Possess strong knowledge of IR and cath lab protocols and safety procedures.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 9-hour shifts, with on-call responsibilities.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
