Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology RN to provide specialized nursing care in a Level I Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have experience in interventional procedures and be capable of handling high acuity cases.

Responsibilities:

• Administer pre-procedure assessments and prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Assist physicians during minimally invasive procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor vital signs and manage patient responses throughout procedures.
• Document procedures, patient information, and clinical observations accurately.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices.
• Provide post-procedure care, including patient education and follow-up instructions.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state or valid NLC compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in interventional radiology or special procedures.
• Proven experience with EPIC electronic health record system preferred.
• Ability to work 4x10 hour shifts with call responsibilities, including weekend rotation.
• Must demonstrate strong clinical skills in acute care settings and trauma centers.
• Current BLS certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS preferred.
