Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical unit, focusing on acute medical and surgical conditions. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, updating care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care activities.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed records.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.
• Comply with all safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Medical Surgical setting.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work a 7a-7p schedule, including weekends, on a 13-week assignment.
