Job Summary:
Provide specialized postpartum and mother-baby care in a fast-paced hospital setting. Deliver compassionate nursing support to new mothers and their infants during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor vital signs for postpartum patients.
• Educate parents on newborn care, safety, and bonding techniques.
• Manage postpartum patient perineal care and assist with recovery.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare staff and providers to ensure quality patient care.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Respond promptly to patient needs and adapt quickly to changing situations.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current state certification.
• Minimum of 1-year recent acute care experience in postpartum or mother-baby units.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple patients with a patient, compassionate approach.
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
• Flexibility to work day or night shifts as scheduled.
