Job Summary:
Provide expert emergency nursing care in a critical access hospital setting, primarily overseeing patient treatment in the Emergency Department during night shifts. Ensure rapid assessment and intervention for a variety of urgent medical conditions while maintaining compliance with trauma and emergency protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions efficiently upon arrival in the Emergency Department.
• Implement and coordinate individualized patient care plans from admission to discharge.
• Administer advanced life support techniques consistent with ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ATLS, and CEN standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely and effective emergency care.
• Document clinical findings, interventions, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly.
• Participate in on-call duties and provide coverage across multiple ED locations as needed during night shifts.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in the state of Colorado.
• Possess recent experience in emergency or trauma nursing, preferably in a Critical Access Hospital environment.
• Maintain certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ATLS, and Certified Emergency Nursing (CEN).
• Demonstrate strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Be able to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced settings.
• Be willing to adhere to hospital policies on housing, smoking, pets, and family accommodations.
