Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide urgent nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. Ensure patient safety, execute critical procedures, and collaborate effectively with medical staff to deliver high-quality emergency services.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions swiftly to prioritize care needs.
• Administer medications, perform EKGs, and establish IV access as required.
• Support physicians during procedures such as conscious sedation and wound care.
• Monitor patient status continuously and update medical records accurately.
• Float between ED departments as needed to maintain optimal staffing levels.
• Adhere to unit policies, protocols, and safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid RN license with a minimum of 1 year of current acute care ED experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in BLS, ACLS, ENPC, NIH, and PALS certifications.
• Possess the ability to work mid-shift and night shifts reliably.
• Prefer candidates with ER charge RN experience and willingness to float.
• Exhibit positive, flexible, and team-oriented personality traits.
• Be able to perform core procedures including IV placements, medication administration, and wound care.
