Job Summary:
The IMC/PCU/Stepdown RN will provide specialized nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring and support during their recovery or stabilization phase. This role involves collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient condition and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physicians' orders.
• Monitor and document patient responses, vital signs, and overall progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge instructions.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and clinical procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina or Compact RN license in hand prior to start.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
• Demonstrate tele competency and adaptability to float within scope of practice.
• Capable of working flexible schedules, including 3x12 or 4x12 shifts.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
