Job Summary:
The Neuro/PCU RN is responsible for providing specialized care to patients in the neuro or stepdown unit, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and delivering high-quality patient care during night shifts. This role requires a proactive approach to patient management and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions regularly and develop detailed care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and protocols.
• Monitor neurological status and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Document patient progress accurately in the electronic charting system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care interventions.
• Maintain compliance with all licensing, certification, and facility requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start date.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a neuro, stepdown, or PCU setting.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certification required.
• Telemetry competency is mandatory.
• Ability to work flexible night hours and handle fast-paced clinical environments.
