Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide expert maternity care. The RN will support antepartum, labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery units, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate for c-sections and assist with high-acuity obstetric cases.
• Monitor patient conditions, interpret fetal and maternal vital signs, and respond to emergencies.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC and Pyxis systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Float between units such as Antepartum, Postpartum, and PACU based on hospital needs.
• Adhere to patient ratios of 1:2 and maintain compliance with certifications and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NJ or Compact RN license at the time of submission.
• Possess at least 2+ years of recent Labor and Delivery experience, including circulating for c-sections.
• Maintain certifications in ACLS, BLS, FHM, and NRP prior to start.
• Demonstrate proficiency in obstetric emergency response and fetal monitoring.
• Willingness to float within skillset and work 3x12.5-hour night shifts.
• Able to pass background and compliance checks, including labs completed within 48 hours of signing.
