Job Summary:

This IR/Special Procedures Tech position involves assisting in interventional radiology procedures within a fast-paced healthcare environment. The technician will support physicians and clinical staff to ensure smooth and efficient patient care during complex imaging and minimally invasive procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assemble necessary instruments and equipment for interventional procedures.
• Assist physicians during imaging-guided procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Operate imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound devices accurately.
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols throughout procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any intra-procedure concerns.
• Document procedure details, patient information, and equipment usage accurately.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Radiologic Technologist license or certification in good standing.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in interventional radiology or specialized imaging procedures.
• Possess proficiency with imaging equipment including fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and X-ray.
• Demonstrate knowledge of sterile techniques and infection control standards.
• Be certified in BLS and, if applicable, other relevant clinical certifications.
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
