Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated Med/Surg RN to provide quality patient care on a 34-bed telemetry unit. This role involves night shifts and requires adherence to hospital protocols and clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate patient care in the medical-surgical unit, including telemetry monitoring.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician orders.
• Document patient information and interventions using Cerner EMR system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control policies.
• Maintain up-to-date certifications and licenses as required.

Qualifications:

• Active WV or Compact RN license; pending licenses accepted.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably in Med/Surg or telemetry units.
• Current BCLS, NIH, and other certifications through AHA.
• Strong clinical skills in patient assessment and telemetry monitoring.
• Ability to work night shifts (4x12 hours) and endure physical demands.
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility or meet case-specific considerations.
