Job Summary:
TRAVEL - RN SICU (651) is responsible for delivering high-acuity critical care to surgical and oncology patients in an intensive care setting. The RN provides comprehensive bedside care, performs and supports complex procedures, and ensures accurate documentation while collaborating with the ICU care team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide critical care nursing for ICU patients based on acuity and skill level
• Manage ventilated and hemodynamically unstable patients using ICU-specific equipment
• Perform and support invasive bedside procedures including central line placements, dialysis catheter placements, and cardioversions
• Deliver CRRT care and assist with hypothermia protocol patient management
• Monitor, assess, and respond to patient status changes and implement evidence-based interventions
• Document care accurately in Meditech and communicate clinical updates to the team

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN TX license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Possess at least 2 years of ICU experience with complex patient management
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certification
• Prefer CCRN certification or readiness to pursue CCRN
• Demonstrate experience with CRRT and hypothermia protocol care
• Show prior Meditech experience (preferred)
