Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes through expert clinical support before, during, and after surgeries.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health status and develop individualized nursing care plans for surgical cases.
• Prepare operating rooms by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and sterile.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures, maintaining strict adherence to sterile techniques.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any intraoperative changes.
• Document all nursing activities, patient responses, and procedural details accurately.
• Educate patients and their families on preoperative and postoperative care instructions.

Qualifications:

• Valid registered nurse license with current state licensure.
• Proven experience in perioperative or operating room nursing preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and infection control standards.
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
