Job Summary:

Responsible for providing specialized nursing care in the operating room environment. Ensures patient safety and effectively supports surgical procedures through expertise and adherence to clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate preoperative preparations for surgical patients to ensure readiness.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes during surgery.
• Ensure all surgical equipment and supplies are properly maintained and available.
• Document all clinical activities accurately in compliance with hospital policies.
• Provide postoperative care and instructions to patients to facilitate recovery.

Qualifications:

• Valid BLS, ACLS, and ACLS certifications required.
• Hold an active license in the relevant state or region.
• Demonstrate experience in Trauma, Neuro, and Orthopedic surgeries.
• Possess strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including two to three 12-hour shifts per week, and on-call rotations.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
