Job Summary:
Provides safe, efficient, and age-specific nursing care to patients and families in the emergency room setting. Utilizes the nursing process to deliver compassionate, relationship-based care, ensuring positive clinical outcomes and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions promptly upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Administer treatments, medications, and therapies according to established protocols.
• Use technical equipment such as monitors, sphygmomanometers, and thermometers to meet patient needs.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Demonstrate leadership in emergency situations, ensuring safety and effective team response.

Qualifications:

• Current registered nurse license to practice in Ohio.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of nursing process and clinical practice standards.
• Experience with emergency room or acute care settings preferred.
• Ability to operate clinical equipment and perform technical skills competently.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills essential for effective team work.
