Job Summary:
The Cath Lab Tech is responsible for assisting in cardiac catheterization procedures within the electrophysiology (EP) unit. This role involves providing technical support, operating equipment, and ensuring patient safety during complex cardiac interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments and prepare them for catheterization procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging and monitoring systems such as Pyxis and Epic.
• Assist physicians during minimally invasive cardiac procedures, including device placements and ablations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain sterile environments.
• Document procedures accurately and manage supplies using hospital systems.
• Provide support during emergencies and participate in call rotations, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid ACLS, BLS, and ARRT or CCI (RCIS) certification.
• Bring a minimum of 1 year of experience in a cath lab or EP setting.
• Be proficient with hospital systems like Epic and Pyxis.
• Possess a valid RN or Allied license and meet travel compliance standards.
• Demonstrate excellent patient care and teamwork skills.
