Job Description
Job Summary:
Job Title: EP Tech Days4. Support electrophysiology (EP) procedures in a Cath Lab/EP environment by preparing equipment, assisting the clinical team, and ensuring accurate documentation throughout the case workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and disinfect EP equipment and accessories according to sterile processing standards.
- Assist with patient positioning and setup for EP diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Monitor supplies and support case readiness by coordinating with nursing and technologist teams.
- Operate and troubleshoot EP imaging/recording equipment within established protocols.
- Document procedure-related data and maintain complete, accurate transcripts and logs.
- Maintain readiness for unit needs, including appropriate floating to like units when required and within scope.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active ARRT(R) or CCI RCIS credential.
- Maintain current BLS certification.
- Maintain current ACLS certification.
- Possess a minimum of 1 year of EP-related experience (preferred: EP-focused Cath Lab/EP exposure).
- Demonstrate competence in EP case support, equipment handling, and sterile workflow.
- Provide a valid RN license if required for submission (if applicable) and complete all travel compliance items as requested.
