Job Summary:
Perform laboratory testing and analysis to support clinical diagnoses within the blood bank department. Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of specimens to aid patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct blood bank tests and procedures according to established protocols.
• Maintain strict compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Document all testing procedures and results accurately.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff and healthcare teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to schedules, including night shift hours (3x12), and work holiday requirements as scheduled.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Medical Laboratory Technologist, Clinical Lab Scientist, or equivalent certification.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Require a valid GA or Compact state license at the time of submission.
• Demonstrate proficiency in blood bank procedures and specimen handling.
• Be able to pass clinical screening and comply with Piedmont guidelines.
