Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Registered Nurse with a focus in Medical Surgical and Telemetry for a 25-bed critical access hospital. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced setting and be adaptable to float within inpatient units.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to surgical and telemetry patients in accordance with hospital policies and protocols.
• Administer medications, including IV infusions such as insulin, emolol, and sodium drips, with proper documentation and safety precautions.
• Monitor patients' clinical status closely, recognize changes, and escalate concerns as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment and discharge planning.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, credentialing, and safety standards, including BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Document all patient interactions thoroughly and accurately into digital health records.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Vermont RN license or Compact license.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of current Med Surg, Tele, and PCU nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with IV drip administration, including insulin and other vasoactive drugs.
• Have recent travel nursing experience within a hospital setting.
• Maintain current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Own a reliable vehicle and include your permanent address in your profile.
