Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide specialized care in the Operating Room. The role involves supporting multiple surgical procedures and ensuring patient safety during all phases of surgery.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assist with a variety of surgical procedures such as spine fusions, total joints, craniotomies, and mastectomies.
• Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment, including robotics, cardiac, vascular, neuro, and oncology tools.
• Monitor patient vital signs and conditions throughout surgical interventions to maintain stability and safety.
• Collaborate with surgical technicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless workflow and optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to unit policies, keep accurate documentation, and comply with certifications and safety standards.
• Support call shifts and weekend work as required, providing flexible coverage to meet unit demands.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with at least 1 year of operating room experience.
• Certified Surgical Technicians (CST) with neuro/spine experience preferred.
• Must possess cardiac experience for the cardiac service line.
• Ability to work 13-week contract positions with flexible scheduling, including night and weekend shifts.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, adaptability, and self-directed work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
