Job Summary:
Provide occupational therapy services to patients by assessing, planning, and implementing treatment programs aimed at restoring and improving their functional abilities. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal recovery and patient care outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive conditions to determine appropriate occupational therapy interventions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and clinical goals.
• Implement therapy sessions, demonstrating proper techniques and adapting as needed for patient progress.
• Document patient progress, therapy outcomes, and plan adjustments in accordance with facility policies.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, adaptive strategies, and safety procedures to foster independence.
• Maintain compliance with all licensing, certification, and safety standards required for occupational therapy practice.

Qualifications:

• Valid California occupational therapist license with upload of Nursys verification within the last 2 weeks.
• Current BLS certification issued by AHA or ARC.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant occupational therapy experience.
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective patient treatment plans.
• Strong documentation and communication skills for accurate clinical records.
