Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care on a Medical-Surgical/Tele unit. The ideal candidate will have experience with diverse surgical and acute medical patient populations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications, including titratable drips, following established protocols.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry strips, ensuring prompt response to abnormalities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage patient care plans effectively.
• Perform patient assessments, including neurological, post-surgical, and chronic illness monitoring.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient education, ensuring a seamless patient flow.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system efficiently and complete required computer modules prior to shift.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 1 year of surgical and medical-surgical experience.
• Proven expertise in total joint procedures, PCA usage, and sepsis management.
• Familiarity with TPN, Lipids, PICC line care, and chronic pain protocols.
• Ability to interpret telemetry strips and manage titratable IV drips.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications are required for clinical competency.
• Experienced with EPIC electronic health record system and working in a fast-paced, high acuity environment.
