Job Summary:
Provide skilled occupational therapy services to evaluate, develop, and implement treatment plans for adult patients with a variety of neuro, orthopedic, and acute care needs. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery and functional independence in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ functional status and interpret clinical data to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living activities.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment approaches based on ongoing assessments.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Maintain compliance with documentation standards and hospital policies, including EPIC systems.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state Occupational Therapist license active at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of acute care therapy experience, with neuro, ortho, and adult populations preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency with documentation systems such as EPIC.
• Be able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced hospital setting with high complexity patients.
• Ability to pass COVID vaccination requirements and related screenings.
