Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in IMC/PCU/Stepdown units, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through skilled clinical interventions and compassionate support. Adapt to various unit environments with flexibility and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders.
• Assess patient conditions and document findings accurately in the Meditech EMR.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient needs, including emergencies such as chest tube management and wound vac care.
• Float between medical, Laulima, and cardiovascular units as required, maintaining high standards of care.
• Utilize equipment like Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes effectively and safely.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Hawaii Registered Nurse license registered by the start date.
• Possess 2-10 years of nursing experience in acute care settings.
• Maintain current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Be willing to float across units including Medical, Laulima, and Cardiovascular.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech EMR, Pyxis, and advanced clinical equipment.
• Exhibit strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
