Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide advanced nursing care to patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, ensuring safety and quality care delivery. Flexibility to float between various medical and surgical units as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medical treatments and procedures according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess changes in patient conditions.
• Document patient care activities accurately using EMR systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including infection control and equipment use.
• Maintain professional nursing attire and uphold unit-specific policies during shifts.

Qualifications:

• Active Hawaii RN license required prior to start date.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent, relevant nursing experience.
• Certification in BLS; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (1845-0715).
• Experience with Meditech EMR, pyxis, wound vacs, chest tubes preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
