Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to outpatients and occasionally to acute care patients, focusing on functional assessment, treatment plan development, and patient education to promote optimal recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient’s physical function through formal and informal testing measures.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment data and patient tolerance.
• Collaborate with physicians to submit and update treatment regimes, ensuring coordinated care.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding diagnosis, prognosis, and intervention strategies.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapist Assistants, aides, and trainees to ensure quality care.
• Document patient progress, responses to treatment, and changes in condition for billing and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy and current state licensure.
• Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrate successful completion of facility-specific orientation and competency assessments.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
