Job Summary:
Provide specialized physical therapy services to patients in outpatient and acute care settings. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to promote recovery and improve patient function.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient’s physical condition through tests and assessments to determine diagnosis and treatment needs.
• Design and execute individualized treatment plans based on assessment data and patient tolerance.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop, submit, and update treatment regimes and care plans.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatment options, and prognosis.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of Physical Therapist Assistants, aides, and students.
• Document patient progress, treatment interventions, and response to therapy accurately for billing and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state license as a Physical Therapist.
• Successfully complete all required orientations and competency evaluations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in documentation and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to educate and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Capability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
• BLS certification required within one month of hire.
