Job Summary:

Provide specialized physical therapy services to patients in outpatient and acute care settings. Focus on assessing, planning, and implementing treatment plans to improve patient mobility and function, while supervising and educating staff and caregivers.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' physical function through formal and informal testing to determine skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment data, patient tolerance, and physician input.
• Implement and adjust treatment regimes, documenting progress and updating care plans accordingly.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on pathology, prognosis, treatment Rationale, and therapeutic activities.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, aides, and students, ensuring compliance with standards and policies.
• Coordinate services, recommend adaptive equipment, and serve as case manager for assigned patients.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher.
• Successful completion of affiliate-specific orientation and competency assessments.
• Current licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
• Ability to perform essential job functions, including lifting and mobility tasks.
