Job Summary:
Provide specialized labor and delivery nursing care to patients in a busy hospital setting. Support postpartum patients and assist with procedures to ensure positive maternal and neonatal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care for labor and delivery patients, including assessments and monitoring.
• Perform and assist with deliveries, including vaginal, assisted, and cesarean procedures.
• Administer medications and manage fetal monitoring requirements using EFM technology.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care, newborn care, and breastfeeding support.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current RN license with at least 1-year recent acute care hospital L&D experience.
• Possess BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM certifications; C or AWHONN preferred.
• Demonstrate experience with Meditech EMR and postpartum procedures.
• Show adaptability, flexibility, and a calm demeanor in a high-pressure environment.
• Be able to work 7P to 7A shifts, including nights, with a focus on patient safety.
