Job Summary:
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/MA) provides clinical and administrative support within healthcare settings under the supervision of licensed medical professionals. They facilitate patient care, prepare exam rooms, and perform various clinical tasks to ensure efficient practice operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare exam and treatment rooms, supplies, and instruments for patient visits.
• Assist patients in preparing for physician examinations and procedures.
• Take and record patient vital signs accurately in medical records.
• Perform clinical procedures such as EKG, PFT, Audiometry, Titmus Test, UDS, BAT, Phlebotomy, and laboratory tests as applicable.
• Maintain and update patient records, reports, and documentation with accuracy.
• Support billing and collections procedures as needed, ensuring confidentiality is maintained.

Qualifications:

• Successfully complete a high school diploma or GED.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program (preferred).
• Possess current AHA BLS certification.
• Hold one of the recognized CMA/MA certifications such as CMA-NHA, CMA-NCCT, CMA-AAMA, RMA-AMT, RMA-NAHP, AMCA, or NCMA.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to interact supportively with diverse patient populations.
• Demonstrate proficiency with computer software and data entry processes.
