Job Summary:
Travel- Nuclear Med Tech (763) delivers high-quality nuclear medicine imaging by preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, and performing scan-related procedures with accuracy and care. This role supports a fast-paced day shift workflow, including imaging for complex, high-acuity cases.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with PET Scans, HIDA, GI Bleed, and Stress Test imaging protocols.
• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and ensure safe handling, labeling, and documentation.
• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment (Phillips and GE) according to established protocols.
• Position patients and monitor comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and ensure scan orders/results are properly recorded.
• Follow radiation safety practices and uphold infection control standards at all times.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Nuclear Medicine license (NMLicense).
• Demonstrate PET Scan/NM competency and familiarity with nuclear medicine workflows.
• Experience performing nuclear medicine procedures (PET Scans, HIDA, GI Bleed, Stress Test preferred).
• Exhibit strong communication skills and professionalism with high-acuity patients.
• Maintain readiness to support department imaging needs as assigned.
• Provide evidence of safe radiation practices and adherence to clinical protocols.
